Sample Event Itinerary - Wedding
Cocktail Music
6:00 PM
As Guests Arrive we play light background music. (Romantic
music, Classical, popular jazz, light rock, oldies, etc..) We realize
your guests are spending this time talking with family and friends.
Grand Introduction
6:15 PM
Introduction of Parents (Optional), Grandparents (Opt.),
Groomsmen(Opt.), Bridesmaids(Opt.), and The Bride and Groom.
The MC will ask everyone to raise as the Bride and Groom will
officially be introduction as “Mr. & Mrs.”
Toast
6:20 PM
This is usually done by the best man and maid/matron of honor
(can also be done during or after the meal).
Blessing of the Food
6:30 PM
The MC will ask a guest (someone selected prior to the reception –
minister, parents, friends, etc.) by to say the blessing.
Dinner is Served
6:45 PM
MC will ask everyone to please be seated as the meal is served. DJ
Will continue to play soft music and will move to more upbeat
music as throughout dinner.
*First Dance
7:30 PM
Bride and Groom select their first dance prior to the Wedding date.
*Parent Dances
7:35 PM
After the Bride and Groom dance their first dance as husband and
wife, they may want to dance with their parents
*Wedding Party Dance
7:40 PM
Once the parent's dances have been completed the Bride and
Groom may want the entire wedding party to come to the dance
floor the wedding party dance, and continue with open dance.
*Open Dancing
7:45 PM
We will invite everyone to join in on the dance floor
*Cake Cutting
8:45 PM
This can take place before open dance or right after the wedding
party dance. We will make sure that the photographer, video
camera man, and the bride and groom are ready. We will, then
announce for people to gather around the cake.
*Money / Dollar Dance
8:50 PM
Gentlemen will have an opportunity to dance with Bride and ladies
with the groom
*Bouquet & Garter toss
9:00 PM
MC will ask for the bride and groom to make their way to the
dance floor.
*Back to Dancing
9:10 PM
The MC will invite everyone back to the dance floor for more
dancing
Last Dance
9:55 PM
About 5 Minutes prior to the reception end, we will play our last slow song for the bride and groom. Everyone will have an opportunity to join in. Couples, family, wedding party, etc. (This will be dj’s choice (unless otherwise specificed), a thank you and best wishes from Supafly Promotions)
*keep in mind these events may be coordinated at
different times at dj's discrection, if applicable. Please see
the below link for event coordination.
