Qualifications -
Requirements - Party Dj
(Corporate Parties,
School Dances, Graduation Parties, Class Reunions, Birthday Parties,
Anniversaries, Outdoor Events,
Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, College Parties, Fairs and
Festivals, Barn Dances, Fundraisers and more)
Dress Appropriately
Arrive Early (for setup and
equipment check) - at least one hour is preferred
Interact with guests (if
necessary, depending on how busy you are, try to make time to at least say
hello)
Follow client itinerary (if
applicable)
Make appropriate announcements
(if applicable)
Party motivate! (get the guests
involved and stay involved) Line dances, limbo, whatever they want!
Take all music requests, if
applicable. Dj base on crowd, client, and environment. i.e. if sweet 16
party, keep music top 40 and mix in appropriate songs, i.e. if party for 21+ and
up crowd, play whatever to make the party go! (play only edited
versions of explicit songs, if applicable, for corporate, and school events, no
exceptions)*
Before winding down the event,
offer to keep the party going for an extended time for a small fee (this is
unless you feel or see the party winding down, you make the call!)**
NO DJ AGENDAS!! (take
care of the client! take requests and do what they ask..., as long as it's
within reason)
REMEMBER EVERYONE'S EVENT IS
SPECIAL!
WE WANT EVERYONE A PART OF THE EVENT TO THINK OF THE DJ AND THE FUN
THEY HAD THAT DAY!
Pay starts at $75 a gig (if
Supafly Promotions provides equipment for service)***
Pay starts at $100 a gig (if
dj provides own equipment for service)***
*this is because children
and older adults attend these events and explicit songs are not appropriate for
high school dances, sweet 16's and wedding events
**if purchaser requests to
have dj stay past scheduled time, a fee would apply (this is important because
they are paying for your extended time)
***Pay may increase based on
dj's experience and length service is needed. Pay for event is quoted to
dj prior to gig acceptance
Pay for every event may vary.
